WallStreetZen

wallstreetzen.com

Stock research built around Zen Ratings, an A-to-F quant grade from 115 factors, plus a top-analyst tracker and plain-English explanations of price moves.

What it is

WallStreetZen condenses stock research into grades. Its Zen Ratings model scores about 5,300 US stocks from A (Strong Buy) to F using 115 factors, and shows component grades such as growth or AI exposure. It also tracks the forecasts of more than 4,000 Wall Street analysts and ranks them by past accuracy, and it offers due diligence checks, a stock screener and one-sentence explanations of why a stock moved.

The free Basic plan is limited: 10 due diligence checks, only the top 10 analysts, 5 analysts to follow, 3 Why Price Moved explanations and no advanced screener or exports. Premium unlocks the full list of A-rated stocks, rating upgrade and downgrade alerts, unlimited due diligence checks and analyst forecasts, 200 analyst follows, the advanced screener with export, and removes ads.

WallStreetZen publishes backtested returns for each rating grade and highlights past winners on its sales pages. Those are the provider's own figures on hypothetical portfolios, not a promise of future results, and WallStreetZen itself says it does not give financial advice. Separate newsletter-style services (Zen Investor, Zen Options) are sold outside Premium.

Strengths

  • Turns many factors into one grade that is quick to scan
  • Analyst tracker ranks forecasters by their own past record
  • Plain-English explanations for investors who do not read filings
  • $1 trial and a 90-day refund window lower the cost of trying Premium

Limitations

  • The free plan caps most features at a handful of stocks
  • Performance figures for the ratings are the provider's own backtests
  • Covers US stocks only; no options, futures or crypto research
  • Additional services such as Zen Options cost extra on top of Premium

Good fit for

  • Part-time investors who want a quick grade before digging deeper
  • Investors who follow analyst calls and want to know which analysts have been accurate
  • Beginners who want financials explained in plain language

Look elsewhere if

  • Short-term traders who need real-time charts, flow or options data
  • Investors who prefer to build their own valuation from raw statements (Stock Analysis fits better)
