Seeking Alpha
seekingalpha.com
Stock research from thousands of contributor articles plus daily Quant Ratings and factor grades, with most analysis behind the $299-a-year Premium plan.
What it is
Seeking Alpha publishes investment analysis written by a large pool of outside contributors, from professional analysts to individual investors, alongside market news, earnings coverage and transcripts. Its own contribution is the Quant Rating: every covered stock gets a score from 1.0 to 5.0 (Strong Sell to Strong Buy) built from five factor grades, Value, Growth, Profitability, Momentum and EPS Revisions, updated daily.
A free Basic account gives real-time stock prices, news, a portfolio with alerts and one Premium article a month. Premium, at $299 a year, unlocks unlimited articles and earnings call transcripts, all three ratings per stock (Quant, SA Authors and Sell-Side), factor grades, the stock and ETF screeners, side-by-side comparisons, ten years of financial statements, broker-synced portfolios and a Portfolio Health score.
Seeking Alpha also sells separate products on top of Premium: Alpha Picks (two quant-selected stock picks a month), PRO (exclusive articles from top contributors and idea generation) and paid Investing Groups run by individual analysts. These are priced separately. Contributor articles are opinions and vary in quality; the site is research for longer holding periods, not a trading platform or a source of intraday signals.
