Koyfin is a web-based research platform that puts charts, fundamentals, screeners, news and macro data into customisable dashboards, in the style of a professional market terminal. It covers stocks, ETFs, indices, government yields, currencies, commodities and crypto, with a screener the company says has more than 5,900 filter criteria across over 100,000 global securities. There is also a mobile app.
The free plan is a real starting point: charts, market and macro dashboards and portfolio tracking, but only two years of financials, one year of estimates, two watchlists, two screens and two custom dashboards. Plus opens ten years of history and estimates, unlimited watchlists, screens and dashboards, ETF holdings, filings, transcripts and premium news. Premium adds deeper portfolio analytics, custom data and formulas, and custom financial templates. The two Advisor plans add client reports, model portfolios, custodian integrations and mutual fund data, and are aimed at financial advisers rather than traders.
Price data is not uniformly real time: US stocks mix live and 15-minute delayed quotes, Canadian prices are 15 minutes delayed and other countries are end of day. Koyfin is built for research and fundamental analysis, not for fast intraday trading.
