Stock Rover
stockrover.com
Web research for North American stocks, ETFs and funds with deep fundamental screening, stock scores and portfolio analytics linked to your brokerages.
What it is
Stock Rover is a browser-based research, screening and portfolio platform aimed at long-term investors rather than intraday traders. It covers more than 14,000 North American stocks plus about 7,000 ETFs and 40,000 mutual funds, with hundreds of financial metrics, years of historical fundamentals, comparison tables, charts of valuation and ratio history, and portfolio tools such as rebalancing, dividend income projections, correlation analysis and Monte Carlo simulation.
The paid plans differ mostly in data depth and limits. Premium has 400+ metrics, 5 years of fundamentals and 10 years of prices. Premium Plus moves to 700+ metrics and 10 years of fundamentals, and adds equation-based and historical screening, valuation charts and research reports on more than 7,000 stocks. Ultimate reaches 800+ metrics and 20 years of fundamentals and adds real-time quotes where available, analyst detail, insider metrics, option metrics with a full options chain and OTC screening. Ultimate Pro is for advisers, with much higher limits.
Every plan can be tried free for 14 days without a credit card; when the trial ends the account drops to the Free plan rather than being charged. The Free plan is meant for basic research on individual stocks. Annual billing saves up to 30 percent and two-year billing up to 40 percent. Stock Rover does not issue refunds, and subscriptions renew automatically until you turn renewal off.
