TipRanks
tipranks.com
Stock research site that ranks more than 96,000 analysts, bloggers, insiders and fund managers by track record and rolls their calls into a Smart Score.
What it is
TipRanks collects what Wall Street analysts, financial bloggers, corporate insiders, hedge fund managers and individual investors say or do about a stock, then scores each of those experts on how their past calls worked out. It tracks more than 96,000 experts. On a stock page you see the consensus rating and price target, which experts are behind it and how accurate they have been, plus insider and hedge fund activity, news sentiment, financials and its 1-to-10 Smart Score.
A free Basic account shows part of this. Premium opens most stock analysis, investment idea lists, screeners, calendars and portfolio tools, lets you follow up to five experts and 30 stocks by email, and exports to PDF. Ultimate adds risk factor analysis, research firm rankings, complete expert rankings, the ability to change how experts are ranked, unlimited alerts and CSV export.
The prices shown on the plans page are introductory: $13.50 a month for Premium and $22.50 for Ultimate, 55% off list prices of $30 and $50, with checkout set up as a yearly subscription. Yearly plans carry a 30-day money-back policy. The Smart Score's stated performance is based on backtesting, which TipRanks' own disclaimer says is not an indicator of future results.
