Roic.ai started as a free site for reading long runs of company financials and has grown into a financial data API. On the website, each company page lays out a decade or more of per-share data, margins, returns on capital and balance sheet items in one table, and a stock screener filters companies worldwide by fundamentals. The API serves the same data: income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, ratios and valuation multiples, daily prices, splits, forex, earnings calendars, estimates and call transcripts, with an MCP server for AI agents.
The published plans are defined by API limits and history depth. The free plan allows 5 requests a minute and two years of annual data, with no quarterly figures. Individual raises that to 300 requests a minute, five years of history and 20 quarters. Professional removes request limits and opens 40+ years of statements, all transcripts, the earnings calendar and bulk downloads. Commercial use of the data in your own products needs the Enterprise plan, priced by quote.
Roic.ai says it refreshes data daily, using SEC filings for statements and Nasdaq for prices, and publishes its formulas in a knowledge base. It notes that ratios such as ROIC have several accepted definitions, so its figures can differ from other sites. Annual billing gives two months free.
