What it is
Medved Trader is a desktop charting and trading program for Windows. It does not sell market data itself: you connect it to a broker or data vendor and it becomes the front end. Supported brokers for trading include Charles Schwab, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, tastytrade, Tradier, Alpaca and E*Trade (orders only, no data), plus futures brokers through Rithmic and several crypto exchanges. For data you can also use paid feeds such as DTN IQFeed, dxFeed, Barchart and QuoteMedia, or free sources such as Yahoo Finance snapshot quotes.
Inside the app you get customizable charts with many indicators and annotations, trading from the chart, a depth-of-market ladder and Level II, alerts on symbols, portfolios and news, formula-based scanning with any indicator, option chains and an Option Risk Analyzer for profit and loss curves on multi-leg trades.
Every new account gets the premium version free for the first month. Premium then costs $24.99 a month or $239.99 a year. Without paying, the app keeps working in a limited mode: two charts with three indicators each, 20 symbols per watchlist, ten days of intraday history, one Level II screen, one trading account and no API. Tradier clients can get discounted access.

Market data is not included: it comes from your broker or a separately paid data vendor. Payments are refundable within 48 hours; annual plans get a prorated refund if cancelled within 120 days. Tradier clients get discounted access.
