What it is

TC2000 is a charting and scanning platform for US stocks and options that has been around since the 1990s. Its core is the EasyScan condition wizard, which builds screens step by step from any indicator without formula writing, and custom indicators called Personal Criteria Formulas for those who do want formulas. It runs as a Windows program, on a Mac through the web platform, and as an Android app.

Every paid plan includes a real-time US stock data feed, streaming watchlists, stock and option charts, news and paper trading. The plans then diverge sharply: Basic has no real-time scanning, drawing tools or EasyScan, so most scanner users need Premium, while Premium+ adds live auto-refreshing scans, market-pulse breadth gauges and 1,000 alerts. Real-time options, index and consolidated-tape data are separate monthly add-ons.

The options charts are distinctive: they plot an option's historical bid and ask, intrinsic value and time value against the underlying, and shade profit and loss zones for a strategy directly on the chart.

TC2000 Brokerage, an affiliated FINRA/SIPC broker for US residents, lets you trade from the charts. It charges commissions rather than trading for $0: $1 plus half a cent per share for stocks and $1 plus 65 cents per option contract on the default plan.
