TradingView
tradingview.com
Browser, desktop and mobile charting for stocks, futures, forex and crypto, with Pine Script, a large community script library and trading from the chart.
What it is
TradingView is a charting platform that runs in the browser and as desktop apps for Windows, Mac and Linux plus iOS and Android apps, with layouts and alerts synced between them. It covers US and international stocks, ETFs, futures, forex, crypto, bonds and economic data, and ships more than 400 built-in indicators and strategies alongside a community library of over 100,000 public scripts written in its own Pine Script language.
The free Basic plan is usable for casual charting but tight: one chart per tab, two indicators per chart, three price alerts, 5,000 historical bars and ads. Paid plans are mostly about capacity. Essential, Plus, Premium and Ultimate raise charts per tab (2, 4, 8, 16), indicators per chart (5, 10, 25, 50), alert counts and historical bars, and unlock volume profile, bar replay, second-based intervals, multiple watchlists and chart data export.
Two things to know before paying. Real-time data from many exchanges is sold separately as an add-on, so a paid plan alone does not make every market live. And if you trade professionally (as defined by the exchanges), only the Ultimate plan is available to you. You can place orders from the chart through more than 100 connected brokers, or use the built-in paper trading account.
