Macrotrends
macrotrends.net
Free, ad-supported site of long-horizon charts: decades of stock prices and fundamentals, a century of index, metals and economic data, and a screener.
What it is
Macrotrends is built for looking back a long way. Stock pages show 50 or more years of price and dividend history where it exists and around ten or more years of annual and quarterly fundamentals such as revenue, margins and earnings, each with year-over-year growth worked out for you. Beyond stocks it charts more than 100 years of inflation-adjusted market indices, precious metals and economic data, and about 45 years of commodity, interest rate and exchange rate data.
Each fundamental page is simple: a chart, a table of annual and quarterly figures, a short company description and a list of peers with market cap and P/E. A stock screener offers more than 50 fundamental and performance criteria, including 3, 5, 10 and 20-year growth rates, which few free screeners provide.
The site is free to use with ads. Its terms now describe premium access: some data, time series, charts and downloads may require a paid subscription, billed in advance with no monthly option, and prices are shown only at checkout. The terms also forbid scraping and automated downloading. The data is end-of-period research data, not live quotes, so it fits investors studying long trends rather than traders watching the tape.
