InsiderScreener

insiderscreener.com

Insider-trading tracker for the US, Canada, Europe, India, Australia and South Korea, with cluster-buy screeners, watchlists and alerts from $19 a month.

What it is

InsiderScreener collects insider purchases and sales from regulatory filings in the US, Canada, a dozen European countries, India, Australia and South Korea (the last two in beta) and standardizes them so trades from different markets can be compared. It filters out routine, low-information transactions and offers screeners for the largest buys and sells, cluster buying, insiders buying after a 5 percent or larger price drop, and executive-only activity.

Visitors without a subscription can browse most of the site. The paid plans add tracking, alerts and exports. Plus covers the full transaction database, daily email reports, advanced search, 25 tracked stocks, five saved screens and 1,000 exported rows a month. Pro raises those limits and adds earnings data with screeners that combine earnings beats or misses and 52-week highs or lows with insider activity. Premium adds real-time email alerts, a ranking of top insiders with detailed past performance, 500 tracked stocks and priority support.

Speed depends on the market's filing rules. US and European trades usually appear within minutes of the filing becoming public, while Canada and India are checked twice a day. A separate API is sold from $49 a month, with higher tiers adding screener and signal endpoints. Plans can be cancelled at any time and can be refunded within 14 days.

Strengths

  • Covers many more non-US markets than most US-focused insider trackers
  • Standardized data makes trades from different countries comparable
  • Cluster-buy and buy-the-dip screeners surface patterns without reading filings
  • Entry plan is inexpensive at US$169 a year

Limitations

  • Real-time alerts and insider performance rankings require the top Premium plan
  • Canadian and Indian data is only checked twice a day
  • Australia and South Korea coverage is labelled beta
  • Insider data only: no charts, options or broader fundamentals
  • The API is a separate subscription from the web plans

Good fit for

  • Investors who follow insider buying as one input to stock research
  • Traders who want insider activity in European, Indian or Canadian stocks as well as the US
  • Researchers who need exports or an API of standardized insider transactions

Look elsewhere if

  • Traders who only need free US Form 4 data (OpenInsider or SEC EDGAR cover that)
  • Anyone wanting congressional trades or options flow in the same tool
