Quiver Quantitative
quiverquant.com
Free-to-browse hub of alternative data on congressional trades, insiders, lobbying, government contracts and more, with paid backtests, alerts and an API.
What it is
Quiver Quantitative collects public but scattered data about companies and the people around them and puts it on one site. Its flagship dataset is stock trading by members of Congress, disclosed under the STOCK Act within 45 days of each trade. Alongside it sit corporate insider trades, government contracts, corporate lobbying, the revolving door between government and lobbying, election contributions, institutional holdings, patents, app ratings, layoff (WARN) notices and trackers of public stock pickers.
Much of this can be browsed free. The congressional trading page, for example, shows recent trades with filing and trade dates, the most active traders and an estimate of how each stock has moved since the trade. The paid Premium layer adds the politician portfolio leaderboard, the Congress and Institutional Holdings backtesters, Quiver's backtested strategies, the stock screener, data export and alerts across datasets. Premium prices are shown only after creating an account.
Developers can buy the same data through the Quiver API, which is priced separately. Hobbyist ($30/mo) covers congressional, lobbying, contract and off-exchange data; Trader ($75/mo) adds insider trading, hedge fund activity, patents and more. Both are for non-commercial use only. An MCP server lets AI assistants query the data.
Keep the data's limits in mind: congressional disclosures can arrive weeks after the trade, and backtested strategy returns describe the past, not what a copy of those trades will earn.

|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Browse most datasets on the website, including recent congressional trades |

The website Premium plan (backtesters, strategies, screener, alerts, export) shows its price only after creating an account, so it is not listed here. API plans are separate from Premium; a Startup API plan covers commercial use for companies under $1M revenue.
Free option: Most datasets can be browsed free on the website, including recent congressional trades, insider trades, lobbying and contracts; backtesters, strategies, alerts, the screener and export need Premium.
