Dataroma
dataroma.com
A free, no-signup site that tracks the 13F portfolios of about 80 well-known value investors, with their recent buys and sells and insider purchases.
What it is
Dataroma follows a hand-picked list of well-known fund managers, 83 at this review, including Warren Buffett, Bill Ackman, Carl Icahn and David Tepper. For each one it shows the current portfolio from their latest 13F filing, with position sizes and the changes made in the last quarter. Aggregate views then show which stocks are most widely held across the group, where several managers are making concentrated bets, the top buys of the last quarter and holdings trading near 52-week lows.
Two sections go beyond quarterly 13F data. Real Time lists Form 4 and other ownership filings made by the tracked managers when they act as corporate insiders, covering the last six months. Insider shows open-market purchases of at least $50,000 by company insiders across the market, updated daily. There is also an S&P 500 grid and a page of commentaries and articles.
Everything is free and there is no account or paid tier. The trade-off is that 13F filings are quarterly and filed up to 45 days after quarter end, so the portfolios show what these managers held weeks or months ago, and 13Fs list only US long equity positions, not shorts or most other assets.
