PineConnector

pineconnector.com

A bridge that turns TradingView webhook alerts into MetaTrader orders, with cloud-hosted MT5 terminals included so your own computer can stay off.

What it is

PineConnector solves one specific problem: TradingView can generate alerts from Pine Script indicators and strategies, but it cannot place orders at MetaTrader brokers. PineConnector receives those alerts by webhook and routes them as orders to connected MetaTrader accounts. It works with MetaTrader brokers such as IC Markets, Pepperstone, OANDA and Exness, and with prop firms such as FTMO, FundedNext and The5ers.

Every plan now includes Edge, PineConnector's managed MT5 hosting in New York, so the terminal runs in the cloud and nothing needs to be installed; this also makes it usable from a Mac. Edge is MT5 only and runs only PineConnector's connector, not third-party expert advisors. MT4 accounts are still supported if you run the terminal yourself, on your own PC or VPS. The plans differ by how many accounts you can connect: one on Core, three on Plus and five on Pro. Plus adds analytics and email and Telegram notifications; Pro adds priority support and signal authentication.

Two costs sit outside PineConnector: TradingView webhook alerts require a paid TradingView plan, and you need a MetaTrader account with a compatible broker. There is no free or paid trial, and partial billing periods are not refunded.

Strengths

  • Connects TradingView alerts to MetaTrader, which TradingView cannot do on its own
  • Hosted MT5 included, so no VPS or always-on computer is needed and it works from a Mac
  • One alert can drive up to five broker or prop firm accounts
  • Compatible with many forex brokers and prop firms

Limitations

  • No free or paid trial, and no refunds for partial billing periods
  • The hosted Edge terminals are MT5 only; MT4 users must run their own terminal
  • Edge runs only PineConnector's connector, not other expert advisors
  • Requires a paid TradingView plan for webhook alerts on top of the subscription

Good fit for

  • TradingView Pine Script traders who trade forex or CFDs through a MetaTrader broker
  • Prop firm traders automating the same strategy across several funded accounts
  • Mac users who want MetaTrader automation without running Windows

Look elsewhere if

  • Traders whose broker does not offer MetaTrader (look for a direct TradingView broker integration instead)
  • Anyone who wants to backtest strategies; it only executes alerts
