Newsquawk
newsquawk.com
A 24/7 analyst-run audio squawk and curated headline service for macro and multi-asset traders, with an equities suite on its $399-a-month Pro plan.
What it is
Newsquawk is a real-time news service run by analysts rather than algorithms alone. Its two core products are a live audio squawk, where analysts read out market-moving news and data as it happens, and a headlines feed in which each item is checked for market impact before it is published. Around them sit 12 to 15 research reports a day on macro themes and upcoming events, an economic calendar with central bank decisions, and curated feeds from social media and political channels such as Truth Social and verified X accounts.
Coverage runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across forex, equities, fixed income, energy, commodities, metals and geopolitics, which suits traders who react to data releases and central bank headlines. Access is through a web terminal and iOS and Android apps, with watchlists, custom dashboards, push and email alerts, and portfolio uploads to highlight relevant news.
The two plans differ a lot. Basic gives one asset-class squawk channel plus headlines, research, calendar and the app, but leaves out equities and fixed income coverage. Pro adds every channel, the equities suite (SEC filing analysis, options activity, broker ratings, insider and government trades) and Benzinga and The Fly feeds. A free demo shows 24-hour delayed data, and Pro can be tried for seven days for a small fee.

Strengths
- Human analysts filter headlines and speak the squawk, cutting noise from raw wire feeds
- 24/7 coverage across forex, rates, commodities, equities and geopolitics
- Daily research on upcoming data and central bank events alongside the live feed
- Pro combines macro squawk with an equities suite and Benzinga and The Fly feeds
Limitations
- Expensive for retail traders: $199 a month for Basic and $399 for Pro
- Basic covers a single squawk channel and excludes equities and fixed income
- The free demo uses data delayed by 24 hours, so real-time testing needs the paid trial
- Focused on macro news; it is not a charting or order-entry platform
Good fit for
- Futures, forex and index traders who trade around economic data and central banks
- Traders who want news read aloud while watching charts
- Multi-asset traders who need overnight and weekend coverage
Look elsewhere if
- Stock traders on a budget who only need company headlines
- Long-term investors who do not trade on breaking news
