Earnings Whispers
earningswhispers.com
Earnings calendar since 1998 built around whisper numbers, with free report pages and paid services adding grades, volatility data and trade ideas.
What it is
Earnings Whispers publishes an earnings calendar and research built on the idea that stocks react to results relative to what investors expected, not to the published consensus. Its whisper number is its own estimate of that expectation, built from analyst and investor input. The free calendar shows each day's reporting companies with report time, confirmation status, consensus EPS and revenue estimates, reported figures, surprise and growth. On the calendar the whisper number column is locked for visitors who are not subscribed, while individual company report pages show it after results are out.
Two paid services sit on top. The Investor Service centres on the Earnings Whisper Grade, an F to A+ rating of each report against expectations, plus near-real-time earnings and guidance alerts, a weekly Whisper Report, a sentiment index, conference call analysis, an earnings screener, a short interest report, an expanded calendar with implied volatility and average moves, and data access by download, API or AI assistant. Its price is shown only after creating an account.
The Trader Service includes everything in the Investor Service and adds short-term tools around each release: Earnings Whisper Plays (specific trade ideas, long and short), the Earnings Whisper Score, Power Rating, implied and average move data, option trades priced into earnings, technical setups and AI call screening. It costs $199.95 a month with a 14-day free trial. The sign-up pages present strategy track records; the Investor page notes its figures include results backdated before grades were first published in 2015.
