Brew Markets
brewmarkets.com
Morning Brew's free weekday-afternoon markets newsletter, a five-minute plain-English read on stocks, earnings, crypto and the economy, with a podcast.
What it is
Brew Markets is the investing newsletter from Morning Brew, the company known for its daily business email. It arrives every weekday afternoon, after the US market has done most of its moving, and aims to explain the day's stock market news in about five minutes: the big movers, earnings, deals, macro news and the occasional crypto story, written in Morning Brew's light, conversational style.
Alongside the email there is a weekday afternoon show hosted by Ann Berry, an investor and former chief executive, that looks at how market news affects ordinary investors. It is published as a podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and iHeartRadio, and as video on YouTube. The website archives past issues and has longer explainers on topics such as the history of bitcoin.
It is free to subscribe and paid for by advertising, like the other Morning Brew newsletters. It is news and commentary, not a data tool: there are no quotes, charts, screeners or watchlists, and no dedicated mobile app. Every subscriber gets the email at the same time, since Morning Brew does not send by time zone. Coverage centres on US markets with some global stories.
