SquawkFlow
squawkflow.com
A free, no-signup options terminal with SPX gamma levels, ranked unusual flow, modeled dark pool readings and a public record of its own simulated trades.
What it is
SquawkFlow is a browser-based terminal that pulls options market-structure data into one screen: SPX gamma exposure with call walls, put walls and the zero-gamma flip, a GEX heatmap by strike and expiry, unusual call and put activity ranked by estimated premium, modeled dark pool activity with a DIX-style sentiment reading, sector rotation, max pain and the VIX futures curve. Twice a day an AI narration summarises conditions, and a decision panel rolls the signals into a yes, no or caution reading on whether to trade at all.
Everything is free, with no account and no credit card. The site says openly that it is free while the team finds out whether anyone wants it, and that there is no pricing page. Data runs about 10 minutes behind the market, and coverage is roughly 190 stocks and ETFs rather than the whole options market.
What sets it apart is The Lab, a public log of every simulated trade its research engines have produced, losers included. As of late September 2026 it listed 217 paper trades across three engines, with win rates and profit factors per engine; one engine has a profit factor below 1. These are graded against model prices, not real fills. A free JSON API and a public GitHub dataset of daily SPX gamma levels are also available.

Strengths
- Completely free with no account, which makes it easy to try alongside a paid flow tool
- Publishes its simulated results openly, including losing engines and sample sizes
- SPX gamma levels, flow, dark pool, VIX curve and sector rotation on one screen
- Free JSON API and open GitHub data for traders who want to build on it
Limitations
- Data is about 10 minutes delayed, not real time
- Covers roughly 190 stocks and ETFs, not every optionable ticker
- Dark pool figures are modeled and flow premium is estimated, not raw prints
- No mobile app is mentioned; it is a browser terminal
- The operator is not named on the homepage, and the free model is described as provisional
Good fit for
- SPX and index options traders who watch dealer gamma levels
- Traders who want a free second screen for flow and GEX context
- Anyone curious to compare model signals against a published track record
Look elsewhere if
- Traders who need real-time, tick-by-tick flow on any ticker (a paid flow service fits better)
