What it is
Option Samurai is a screener for option trades rather than a flow or charting tool. You pick a strategy such as covered calls, cash-secured puts, vertical spreads or iron condors, set limits on return, probability, risk, implied volatility and stock fundamentals, and it returns the contracts across US-listed stocks that fit. A gallery of ready-made scans (wheel candidates, puts on dividend aristocrats, unusual option volume) gives a starting point.
There are two plans. Beginner scans on end-of-day data, supports custom strategies of up to two legs and two tracked trading accounts. Advanced adds intraday data, scan watching that notifies you when a new result appears, custom strategies of up to five legs, unlimited accounts in the trade log, an Excel and Google Sheets add-in and premium market reports. The 170 filters are listed as part of the Advanced plan.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card. After that, monthly payments are non-refundable; only annual renewals can be refunded within seven days. The company is based in Tel Aviv, but the data covers US stocks and options.
