Myfxbook connects to a live or demo forex account and turns its trade history into statistics: results by currency pair, by direction and, for expert advisors, by magic number. Supported platforms include MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, OANDA fxTrade, FXCM Trading Station and TradeLocker. Registration is free and there is no limit on the number of accounts you add to a portfolio.
Its most prominent use is verification. A public account can show two badges: track record verified, meaning the history shown matches what the broker reports through the investor password, and trading privileges verified, meaning the person who added the account holds the master password. Fully verified public accounts can charge a monthly fee for premium access to their statistics.
Beyond the journal, Myfxbook is a forex research site: an economic calendar with consensus and actual values, community sentiment showing how Myfxbook users with live accounts are positioned, a currency heat map, volatility and correlation tables, COT data and calculators. The site is free and ad-supported; optional paid subscriptions exist, but their prices could not be read on Myfxbook's own pages for this review.
