iVolatility
ivolatility.com
Options and implied-volatility data with 20+ years of history, sold as the browser-based IVolLive toolkit and as a REST API with AI backtesting.
What it is
iVolatility is primarily a data company: it sells historical and real-time options, implied volatility and Greeks data to institutions, and many retail platforms use it as a source. For individual traders it offers two products, and it is worth knowing which one you need before starting a trial.
IVolLive is the browser platform. It bundles a stock monitor with 100+ fields, an options chain with IV and Greeks, an IVX (implied volatility index) monitor, options, probability and P&L calculators, an earnings calendar with expected moves, a sentiment analyzer and an AI assistant that can run options backtests from a chat description. The two plans share the same tools: Advanced uses 15-minute delayed data, Real-Time adds live data and the Spread Scanner, which ranks setups across 14 strategies. Both include a data download allowance for end-of-day history.
The Options Data API is a separate subscription for people who write code. Builder, Quant and Lab plans differ mainly in monthly request limits, and all include the IVolAI backtesting module, a cloud VS Code workspace and $50 of AI credit. Coverage spans US, Canadian, European, Asian and other markets, with intraday and real-time data for the US only.
Prices on the site are for personal, non-professional use. Anyone using the data for advisory, valuation or company work needs a professional license from sales.
