GEXStream
gexstream.com
A dedicated dealer gamma dashboard for S&P 500 stocks, top ETFs and indices, adding flow, volatility surfaces and stock lending data on its higher tiers.
What it is
GEXStream, run by QuantLens, LLC, is built around one question: how are options dealers positioned, and where will their hedging push or pin price? Its dashboard shows gamma exposure (GEX) by strike, a GEX ratio, open interest walls and heatmaps, and it covers all S&P 500 stocks, the top 100 ETFs including SPY, QQQ and IWM, and seven major indices.
There are three plans. Basic covers the core gamma views. Flow adds volume-based gamma (vGEX), options inventory, a classified trade tape, stock lending and short volume data, and up to 10 email alerts. Quant adds delta, vanna and charm exposure, the implied volatility term structure and surface, a machine-learning volatility forecast refreshed every five minutes across about 629 tickers, market breadth, 25 alerts and a 3:45 PM ET daily email.
The 3-day free trial gives full Quant access to the web app but needs a card, and API and MCP access are not part of the trial. The documentation explains the formula behind each metric in unusual detail, which helps if you want to know what a number actually measures before paying for it. Like any GEX tool, it models dealer positioning from open interest and trades; it is an estimate, not a record of what dealers hold.
Key features
- Gamma exposure by strike
- Net GEX, a GEX ratio between 0 and 1, and open interest walls for each ticker, with 2D and 3D heatmaps.
- Strike window
- Click any strike to follow its exposure through the session in 5-minute samples; Flow and Quant add a replay of its classified trades.
- Flow and tape (Flow tier)
- Volume-based gamma, options inventory, net premium and a tape filterable by notional, block size, type and expiry.
- Volatility tools (Quant tier)
- IV term structure, IV surface and a 30-minute realized volatility forecast refreshed every five minutes across about 629 tickers.
- Stock lending and short volume
- OCC loan balances daily and FINRA short volume at T+1, on the Flow tier and above.
- Email alerts
- Rules on screener metrics and spot price, checked every 30 seconds in market hours: 10 rules on Flow, 25 on Quant.
- Metric documentation
- Public docs give the formula and a reading guide for every metric, from GEX ratio to net convexity.

Strengths
- Focused entirely on dealer positioning rather than spreading across many data types
- Covers every S&P 500 stock plus the top 100 ETFs and seven indices
- Public documentation explains how each metric is calculated
- Stock lending, short volume and market breadth in the same dashboard on higher tiers
Limitations
- No free plan, and the trial needs a card
- Coverage stops at S&P 500 stocks, the top 100 ETFs and seven indices; small caps are not included
- Many views, including DEX, VEX, CEX and the IV surface, need the $199.50 Quant plan
- Alerts arrive by email only, and the docs list alert rules only for Flow (10) and Quant (25)
Good fit for
- Index and 0DTE traders who watch gamma levels on SPX, SPY and QQQ
- Options traders who want to understand the math behind GEX, not just the chart
- Traders who combine gamma levels with flow and breadth for intraday context
Look elsewhere if
- Traders looking for a broad unusual options activity feed across all tickers
- Small-cap traders, since coverage is limited to large index members and ETFs
