FX Blue
fxblue.com
Free performance analysis and public track records for MetaTrader 4 and 5 accounts, plus a simulator, currency strength, sentiment and economic calendar.
What it is
The main FX Blue product is FX Blue Live, a free web service that analyzes the trading history of MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 accounts. You connect an account either by running the Publisher EA inside MetaTrader, which updates the site within about a minute of each trade, or through Account Sync, a web form that needs no download. FX Blue then builds balance and equity curves, statistics and risk figures for the account.
Results can be kept for yourself or published as a public track record, combined into portfolios, embedded on your own website or pulled through simple APIs. That makes it a common way for forex traders and signal providers to show verified results, and a useful free journal for anyone trading on MetaTrader.
Around the analytics sit free market tools: a currency strength meter, mini charts across timeframes, trader sentiment showing live positioning, an economic calendar, trading and profit calculators, and a trading simulator with demo accounts and trading challenges. FX Blue also builds the MyTrader platform and a suite of apps and Expert Advisors that brokers offer to their clients.
It is built around MetaTrader, which most US traders only meet at forex brokers. Stock and options accounts at US brokers cannot be connected, so it is only a journal for forex and CFD traders.
