Chartlog

chartlog.com

A low-cost trading journal for US stock day traders that plots executions on historical market-data charts and breaks performance down by strategy.

What it is

Chartlog is a journal and analytics tool aimed mainly at US stock day traders. You import trades, and Chartlog shows each one on a chart built from its own market data, which goes back more than 15 years, so you can review the setup and execution rather than a row in a spreadsheet. A dashboard, journal, strategy tracking and insights reports then break your results down by metrics such as P&L, win rate and profit factor.

Imports are mostly manual file uploads. The integrations page lists about 20 brokers and platforms, many of them favoured by active day traders: DAS Trader Pro, Sterling Trader, Takion, TradeZero, Lightspeed, CenterPoint and CMEG, as well as Interactive Brokers, Webull, E*TRADE, thinkorswim and tastyworks. Automatic sync is offered for only a handful, such as CMEG, CenterPoint and Great Point Capital. Options are supported from a few brokers; futures platforms, Fidelity, Schwab and MetaTrader are listed as coming soon.

Pricing is modest. Lite ($14.99/mo) covers unlimited trades, the journal and charting; Standard ($29.99/mo) adds strategy tracking and basic insights; Pro ($39.99/mo) adds advanced insights and custom reports. Every plan allows unlimited trade imports and trading accounts, and annual billing saves 10 to 20%. A free trial needs no credit card.
