ApexVol
apexvol.com
A volatility-focused options terminal with IV rank, skew, dealer gamma, the live chain and a strategy lab on one screen, tiered from $55 a month.
What it is
ApexVol is an options analytics terminal built around implied volatility. Type a ticker once and up to 50 modules follow it: IV rank and percentile, the volatility risk premium (implied against realised), skew and term structure, dealer gamma with the flip level and call and put walls, a live chain with full Greeks, and a Strategy Lab that shows payoff, breakevens, probability of profit and net Greeks for a trade before you place it. Coverage is 5,500+ US stocks and ETFs.
The three paid tiers unlock different sets of modules. Basic covers the terminal, dashboard, Greeks heatmap and Strategy Lab, which suits covered calls and cash-secured puts. Premium adds dealer positioning (GEX, DEX, vanna and charm), IV Intelligence, options flow and 12 market-wide screens. Pro unlocks all 50 modules, including earnings straddle analysis, skew, term-volatility and calendar scanners, 0DTE analytics, a risk manager, historical chain snapshots and saved workspaces.
You can look before paying in two ways: a free account (no card) opens every tool, but on AAPL only, plus earnings and economic calendars on all tickers; and each paid plan has a seven-day free trial that needs a card. Payments are not refunded once taken, so cancel before day seven if it is not for you. A REST API and a Claude connector return the tools of your plan.

Strengths
- Deep volatility analytics (IV rank, vol risk premium, skew, term structure) that most broker platforms show only in part
- One ticker drives every pane, so the chain, GEX and IV views stay in sync
- A no-card free account lets you try every tool on AAPL
- Tiers let premium sellers start at $55 a month without paying for specialist modules
- REST API and Claude connector included at your tier
Limitations
- The free account is limited to a single ticker (AAPL)
- The seven-day trial requires a card and converts to a paid plan if not cancelled; payments are not refunded
- Covers US stocks and ETFs only; there is no futures options coverage listed
- Annual billing is not self-service: you email support to switch
- Earnings, skew, 0DTE and historical tools need the $195 Pro tier
Good fit for
- Premium sellers who time entries on IV rank and vol risk premium
- Spread and condor traders who use dealer gamma levels
- Earnings and volatility traders comparing implied and realised moves
Look elsewhere if
- Traders who mainly want an options flow feed
- Futures options traders
